Product Description

The exterior design and cornice details of the Hampton historical house plans were created to blend in to a historic setting without raising the ire of the local historical society too badly.  The large front porch will provide the setting for generations of memories and provide the perfect spot for an afternoon nap.  This rear entry garage, master on main, design hides an interior for the family of this century with the look of a home from an earlier period.

The interior has an open floor plan, a two story family room, and realistically sized dimensions that will not cramp your style.  All of the secondary bedrooms are larger in size and have their own private bathrooms.  If choosing a basement foundation, the Hampton plan has a secondary garage underneath the main level garage.  This innovative option will economically provide a four car garage or room for plenty of equipment storage.

What’s Not Included

Heating and plumbing plans.

Due to regional variations in climate and building codes, heating and plumbing plans should be supplied by local contractors.

Material quantity lists.

Once your personal selections are made (types of windows, doors, etc.), this list should be obtained from the contractor you choose or from a local building materials supplier.

Architectural and engineering seals.

Some cities and states require a licensed architect or engineer to review and seal a blueprint, or officially approve it, prior to construction due to concerns over energy costs, safety, and other factors. If you require a seal, please contact a local building contractor, engineer, or municipal building authorities for referrals of such needs.

Piedmont Dwellings, Inc. offers a study plan set that can be ordered in PDF form or hard copy form.  The study set is not a full set of plans and does not include all of the pages, dimensions, or information that would be necessary to construct a building.  The study set includes only the full size pages of the floor plans and the elevations of the design.  The intention of the study set is for you to be able to view full size drawings of the floor plans and elevations of a particular design to determine whether a plan meets your needs.

The study set of plans from Piedmont Dwellings, Inc. is clearly marked to indicate that the plans are not authorized for construction.  No license to use the plans for construction purposes is granted or conveyed by the purchase of the Study Set Plans.  The purchase of a plan set that comes with a Single use license agreement would be required to construct any Piedmont Dwelling, Inc design.
